Huh. Interesting. I personally have only come out of the "broom closet" to my father, and that didn't go well. I leave the question open and ambiguous with everyone else, except my aunt and my cousin, who are also highly closeted. My family is STRICT Roman Catholic. I would be disowned, and I am not exaggerating. Tate, does your family know?
My family KINDA knows. I mean, after the death of my daughter Ella and the minister mentioned "summer land" instead of heaven, they probably very likely do... but it's kind of a don't ask don't tell thing.
Ironically, my folks are rationalists -- Unitarian Universalists -- and would be more freaked that I believe in anything, much less some things that could be classified as "supernatural."
